Hoboken Fire Department Promotes Five Members

The Hoboken Fire Department promoted two members to Battalion Chief and three to Captain during a ceremony at Hoboken City Hall on Wednesday, June 26.

Andrew Markey Jr. and Richard England were promoted to Battalion Chief. Firefighters Michael Forcum, Michael Ross, and Jimmy Principe were promoted to Captain. The promotions took effect immediately.

Fire Chief Anton Peskens, alongside department leadership and family members, recognized the promoted members for their dedication and service.

The Hoboken Fire Department responds to more than 5,000 emergencies annually and participates in regional response initiatives, including the New Jersey Regional Fireboat Task Force and the Urban Area Security Initiative.
